"just my thoughts"

Hurting hearts can be healed with time,

Loneliness can be repaired through true connection,

Peace is given but often not received, due to more concern with the feeling rather than moving forward and not dwelling on the past

Trust is sometimes easily given but difficult to restore after broken.

A plan that does not come to pass is not destroyed by those around them but by the originator that has given up on their original plan.

By "exhausting all possibilities" as one of my friends says, we have to put away all the excuses that keep us from reaching our goals.

Don't let a day go by that you are not moving toward your desires one step at a time, you don't have to consume the entire pie on the first bite but at least work towards it. You can do ALL THINGS through Christ...but you have to believe in YOU... ;-)

"When you are content to be simply yourself and don't compare or compete, everybody will respect you" ~ Lao-Tzu

Can We Live Without Facebook/Myspace?

LOL, Funny question huh? I remember before I joined either site I was concerned about the website and what was actually going on. After a little coaching from one of my friends I decided to jump in and try it. I met some cool "cyber friends" found some friends from way back when! Now that was myspace...Facebook is another beast!

Who knew that Facebook would have you checking the durn site RIGHT after you log off the computer from your phone, or randomly during the day just to ensure you haven't received any messages, or changing your status a zillion times, LOL. The site is entertaining to me; and its one of my daily things along with checking my emails and such.

My question for you all is if the websites were abolished would you be ok? I can hear some of you saying what would I do with all my extra time, lol.

Hit me up and let me know your thoughts you can post it here or you can hit me up at kimwilliams.blogspot@gmail.com

Cant wait to hear from you!!

Appreciation

So I sat and pondered what I should blog about today. I decided to look at my phone and see who I have been texting here lately (anyone that knows me knows that I am more of a texter than one that will sit and hold the phone). As I scrolled through the list I realized that the people that I text are not just the random people I talk to because I don't have anything else to do but these people truly have a special place in my heart....

These people are: Chaun, Dionne, Monet, Shamara, Amber, Camisha, Chasson and Lauren. These are my homies, people that have endured my hurt and frustration with me, were there when I needed to talk or just helped me realize that I have the strength to stand alone even when foolishness is surrounding me. I've learned so much from each one of them and for that I appreciate them more than they probably realize.

I posted this not because I have to let the above mentioned know that they are special to me but I realized that sometimes when people become "common" you don't or forget to tell them how much you appreciate them and that you love them. So to you guys (even the ones not mentioned) I love you and take our friendship seriously and appreciate every lesson that I've learned from being in your life!

Now I challenge you guys to make sure that you let the ones you love know that you appreciate them and remind them that their purpose in your life has not diminshed over time but has become greater!

Is it too late?

Hey All,

This is a new thing for me, even though blogging has been around for years... I'm sure there's a lot of things that I said I was going to do that I have not quite grasped yet, but I said at the beginning of this year that it has to be a change (from the inside out). Its amazing how we expect changes from other people but we don't look at the change on the inside that we need to make :-), I'm working on that too.

I know you're probably wondering why I'm talking about new beginnings in MARCH, lol, crazy huh? Well in my mind March is still in the first quarter of the year so even if you haven't made your changes in 2009 its not too late to start! Don't worry about a resolution, make a LIFE STYLE CHANGE, a commitment that you are going to do everything in your power to make your life different and new!
